16 people and two companies were brought to justice for crimes including illegal access to a computer system, fraudulent financial transactions, aggravated theft and illegal deprivation of liberty. The prosecutors found that the defendants, managers of bars in the Old Center of Bucharest, obtained considerable sums of money under the guise of commercial companies, by inducing tourists to get drunk and then robbing them.
