Meteorologists announced, on Saturday morning, new warnings of bad weather, including a yellow code for heavy rains valid in the Capital and 13 counties, such as Vâlcea, Argeș, and Dâmbovița. In the mountainous areas, winter has already taken hold, with snowfall in the Rânca resort, Gorj County.
The ANM warnings indicate mixed precipitation in the south of Banat and the southwest of Transylvania, and at altitudes over 1800 m, a layer of snow of 5-15 cm will accumulate. Until Sunday, water accumulations are estimated between 10 and 25 l/m², and in some areas even over 50 l/m². In Bucharest, significant rain is expected, with maximum temperatures of 9 degrees and minimums of 5-6 degrees. On Sunday, the sky will remain overcast, and the rain will be light in the early hours of the day.
