The Infotrafic Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police has issued a warning regarding the fog conditions affecting traffic in the counties of Giurgiu, Olt, and Teleorman, reducing visibility to below 200 meters and, in isolated cases, below 50 meters.

In this context, drivers are advised to reduce speed, increase the safety distance between vehicles, use lighting systems correctly, and avoid sudden braking or risky maneuvers. Additionally, pedestrians are encouraged to be more cautious, to cross only at marked places, and to ensure they are seen by drivers. It is recommended that pedestrians avoid walking on the roadway at night under conditions of reduced visibility.
