The Romanian Association of Online Shops is calling for government action to combat unfair competition from Asian platforms affecting local commerce.

ARMO underlines that Asian platforms such as Temu and Shein are jeopardizing trade in Romania, calling on the Government to implement fees for non-EU parcels under 150 euros and controls to ensure compliance with safety standards. The association expresses disappointment at the lack of government action, which favors tax evasion and penalizes local traders. ARMO proposes working with the authorities to find solutions that protect consumers and support Romanian online trade.
