The State of Arizona has opened an economic representation in Romania, the first such initiative in the history of bilateral relations. In the budget for 2026, 125,000 dollars have been allocated for the office in Bucharest, which will also support Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans. Romania's Ambassador to the US, Andrei Muraru, emphasized the importance of this decision for the development of trade and economic relations. The Representation will provide trade assistance, conduct market research and facilitate business-to-business links. The project has been realized in cooperation between the Romanian Embassy and the Arizona authorities.
