The Argeș Police carried out ten home searches on Monday in the counties of Argeș, Dâmbovița, and in Bucharest, discovering and confiscating over 16.5 tons of pyrotechnic articles prohibited for sale. These were stored by a company that intended to sell them illegally. Following the action, the police identified 16,570 kilograms of pyrotechnic materials from categories P1, F2, F3, F4, and T1, stored in a company in Leorgeni, which did not comply with legal regulations.

The company's administrator, a 52-year-old man, was detained for 24 hours and is being investigated for offenses under Law no. 126/1995 regarding the regime of explosive materials. In total, ten people aged between 18 and 67 are being investigated in this case, and the investigation continues to establish the entire criminal activity.
