The National Alliance of Student Organizations in Romania (ANOSR) joins the teachers' protest on September 8, expressing its opposition to the austerity measures proposed by the Government.

Students are requesting the return to the allocation of scholarship funds for 12 months, an increase in the percentage of the minimum wage for calculating scholarships, and the reintroduction of scholarships for students with tuition fees. ANOSR emphasizes the lack of response from decision-makers and demands a serious answer to treat education as an investment, not as a burden.
