ANAF has discovered five officials from Iași in a situation of incompatibility and will notify the National Integrity Agency.

The National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) has identified five officials from the Regional Directorate of Public Finances Iași who were in a situation of incompatibility. They held qualified digital certificates, used to represent the interests of private companies, while performing specific duties of their position in ANAF.

According to the legislation, a public official cannot act as a mandatary or representative of a legal entity in connection with their function. ANAF has announced that it will notify the National Integrity Agency (ANI) due to the seriousness of the situation and will intensify internal controls to prevent the occurrence of such cases in the future.
