According to a statement from ANAF, following an audit, unregistered salary payments were discovered in the accounting documents of a tourist complex in Vâlcea County, which were made during the period 2022-2025.

Inspectors found a double record of payments, including a notebook with amounts informally granted to employees. These illegal payments totaled 4.3 million lei, and the company used false documents to conceal the true destination of the money and avoid tax obligations.

Following the tax reclassification, ANAF calculated additional obligations of 1.88 million lei, an amount that the company fully paid to the state budget. The inspections by the inspectors of the General Anti-Fraud Directorate within ANAF will continue to combat tax evasion and ensure a fair tax environment.
