Vasile Preda is accused by the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Bucharest Court of Appeal of disclosing secret information and failing to notify the authorities after he provided a notary with information about a criminal case and details of a piece of evidence. The notary caused more than RON 7 million damage to the state through tax evasion. Preda, with an annual income of 108,816 lei, owns three apartments in Bucharest, which he recently bought.
