Almost 200 Romanians, including two citizens of the Republic of Moldova, are set to return to the country from Israel on Wednesday, March 4, according to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andrei Țărnea.

The assisted repatriation flight from Egypt will transport 174 passengers from Israel, and the authorities have facilitated the necessary formalities.

Additionally, six Romanian citizens, including two medical emergencies, will be repatriated from Jordan with a Slovak flight.

Regarding Romanians in Oman and the United Arab Emirates, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is seeking alternative solutions for evacuation, and a new set of flights to Bucharest will be established.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the Iranian ambassador in Bucharest to discuss Romania's concerns regarding Iran's conduct.
