State Secretary Raed Arafat, head of DSU, informed that, due to unfavorable weather conditions, approximately 10,000 people in Alba County and 5,000 in Hunedoara County are still without electricity. At the national level, the number of users without electricity has decreased from over 90,000. Arafat emphasized that, although certain counties have been more affected, there have been no serious situations.
Authorities have mobilized high-capacity generators to limit the impact of outages, and intervention teams are active on the ground to remedy the failures. In Alba County, 39 teams are working, and in Hunedoara, over 30.
Additionally, the issue of drinking water supply in Alba has been resolved, once electricity was restored. Arafat expressed hope that the situation will be remedied quickly.
