Alexandru Rogobete, former Minister of Health, participated on Thursday, in Sinaia, at the opening of the 52nd National Congress of the Romanian Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care.
In a Facebook post, he mentioned that his presence was not only institutional but also a reunion with colleagues who contributed to saving lives. In his speech, Rogobete discussed the significance of tradition in the medical system, emphasizing that it must be associated with experience and the ability to build a better future.
He also highlighted that his experience in ICU helped him understand the pressure of medical decisions and the responsibility towards patients. Rogobete stated that public policies must be built together with professionals in the field and appreciated the contribution of medical staff to the evolution of the Romanian healthcare system in the last decade.
