Albert NBN, a 20-year-old young artist, has sparked a major scandal after he performed offensive lyrics at the Beach, Please! festival, leading to a criminal complaint from MP Dumitru Coarnă. The artist tried to explain that his lyrics had been misinterpreted and that he did not mean to offend the Romanian people. He also emphasized that the positive messages in his songs were not as much discussed. The festival organizers defended artistic freedom, saying the aim is to provide a platform for urban culture, even if some lyrics may cause controversy.
