Raed Arafat presented the Government decision to grant aid to people affected by floods in Suceava and Neamț counties, where major rescue interventions took place. Some 120 people were evacuated by helicopters, and the death toll shows more than 680 homes affected in Suceava and 170 in Neamț. The government will provide financial aid ranging from 15,000 to 30,000 lei, depending on the severity of the damage. Arafat emphasized the importance of assessments and the restoration of the damaged infrastructure.
