Adrian Nastase said that the funeral of former President Ion Iliescu should have been a moment of homage for all politicians, given the difficult period Romania went through. He stressed the importance of respect for Iliescu's achievements and the teams he formed. Mr. Nastase said that Romanian society was facing fractures and that a joint effort was needed to find solutions for the future.
