On Monday afternoon, an accident occurred in Sector 5 of the Capital, at the intersection of Viilor Road and Constantin Istrati Street. The impact was captured by a surveillance camera, showing how a driver attempted to change lanes but hit two cars. One of them was forcefully pushed into a protective fence of a tram stop.

Three 17-year-old teenagers, two girls and a boy, who were waiting to cross at the pedestrian crossing, were hit as a result of the accident. They suffered minor injuries and were transported to the 'Marie Curie' children's hospital for care, but did not require hospitalization. The police tested all the drivers involved, and the results showed that they had not consumed alcohol. A criminal investigation was opened for bodily harm through negligence.
