A young woman from the commune of Fântânele, Iași, committed suicide, being overwhelmed by the stress of the National Assessment exam.

The girl was found hanging by family members, who tried to resuscitate her until medical crews arrived. Her mother said that the teenager was under a lot of stress because of the exam and that her last moments were about two hours before the tragedy. Doctors confirmed the death on the spot.
