A 17-year-old girl from Timișoara died in the hospital after being admitted with drowsiness, having suspicions of ingesting a substance.

A 17-year-old girl, a student at the 'Grigore Moisil' Theoretical High School in Timișoara, died at the 'Louis Țurcanu' Children's Hospital after being admitted on November 9, 2025, presenting a state of drowsiness. The doctors alerted the Police, which has started an investigation to determine the causes of death.
According to information, the teenager may have ingested a substance, and her mother mentioned that the girl had been suffering from depression since the COVID-19 pandemic.
