Dozens of home searches carried out in several counties, in an economic crime case

The police officers from the Economic Crime Investigation Service in Timiș, coordinated by prosecutors from the Prosecutor's Office next to the Timiș Tribunal, are conducting 71 home searches in the counties of Timiș, Bistrița-Năsăud, Mehedinți, Gorj, Brașov, as well as in the municipality of Bucharest.

The action aims to investigate the crimes of forming an organized criminal group and illegal obtaining of funds. The activities are carried out with the support of police officers from the involved county police inspectorates, highlighting the scale of these investigations. These searches come in the context of a broader action to combat economic crime in Romania.
