Dozens of people have arrived at the Orthopedics department of the Buzau County Emergency Hospital in the last 24 hours, after falling on ice.

Representatives of the Buzău County Emergency Hospital announced that 38 people presented themselves at the Orthopedics office in the last 24 hours, after suffering falls on ice, due to the slippery conditions on the streets.

Of these, 35 were adults and 3 were children. Hospital representatives reported that the patients suffered various traumas, including 20 sprains and 18 fractures in the upper and lower limbs. Nine of the patients required hospitalization for specialized medical care. Additionally, traffic in the municipality of Buzău is affected by ice and snow piles, with many streets not being cleared, which complicates pedestrian movement.
