Denis, the two and a half year old boy in a state of brain death after a surgical intervention at the County Hospital of Constanța, has passed away.

The two-and-a-half-year-old boy Denis died at the 'Grigore Alexandrescu' Hospital in Bucharest after being diagnosed with brain death following a surgical intervention at the Constanța County Emergency Clinical Hospital. The family's lawyer, Ghiulfer-Aisun Ismail, stated that the child's condition worsened due to a lack of proper care, accusing the medical staff of negligence.

The family claims that the surgical intervention was delayed by nine hours, and the neurosurgical consultation was absent for three days after the operation. Additionally, a six-year-old girl entered brain death after an appendectomy at the same hospital. The Constanța County Hospital has initiated an internal investigation to analyze these cases.
