On Sunday night at the Vicovu de Sus Border Crossing Point, police officers discovered 197 cell phones hidden in the side walls of a minibus driven by a Ukrainian citizen. He had no documents of origin for the phones and the goods were valued at 700,000 lei. Officers seized both the phones and the van and opened a criminal case for smuggling.
