The exhibition "The Fragility of Eternity. From Pompeii to the Grand Tour to Today" will present to the public over 100 rare pieces from major Italian museums, including frescoes, paintings, and artifacts from the vanished city of Pompeii. The event, which will take place at the National Museum of Art Timișoara, is curated by Massimo Osanna and Filip Petcu, and aligns with the program "Cultural Year Romania-Italy 2026." Visitors will be guided by a virtual character inspired by an archaeological inscription.
