Sydney Sweeney, known for her Hollywood roles and a former MMA fighter, has been criticized for a slogan in a jeans advertisement that was interpreted as discriminatory. The slogan "Sydney Sweeney has great jeans" contains a pun between "jeans" and "genes", suggesting that only white women's features are "great". The criticism was amplified by the reaction of Donald Trump, who defended the actress. Sydney Sweeney also had a career in MMA, winning competitions at a young age.
