Paramount Pictures has completed negotiations for the distribution of the film 'Rush Hour 4', according to a source close to the negotiations. The company will take a distribution fee without financing the film. This comes after the sexual harassment allegations against Brett Ratner in 2017, which led to the severing of ties between Warner Bros. and Ratner. Although he denied the allegations and has not produced films in this decade, it was reported on Sunday that former President Donald Trump personally requested Paramount to take over the production. Paramount recently merged with Skydance in an 8 billion dollar deal, and Trump praised the new CEO of the studio, David Ellison. 'Rush Hour 4' will feature Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker in the cast, the stars of the action-comedy series launched in 1998, with sequels in 2001 and 2007.
