'Milk Teeth' is a Romanian film directed by Mihai Mincan, which will have its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival. The movie, inspired by a true story, follows the story of a 10-year-old girl, Maria, who searches for her missing sister in Romania in the 80s. Starring Emma Ioana Mogoș in the lead role, the film tackles themes of fear, alienation and coming of age in the political context of transition. It is an international co-production with sound by Oscar-winner Nicolas Becker. The Romanian premiere is scheduled for October 2025.
