The Excelsior Theatre will host the production "Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka, directed by Yuri Kordonsky, a renowned director and professor at Yale. The first performances are scheduled for November 22 and 23, as well as December 19-21. Kordonsky reinterprets Kafka's text, highlighting not only the physical transformation of Gregor Samsa but also the complexity of human relationships, exploring themes of alienation and fragility.

The cast includes renowned actors such as Marius Turdeanu and Oana Predescu. The set design, created by Oana Micu, creates an atmosphere that reflects the tension between intimacy and alienation. Kordonsky, with an impressive career and international awards, brings a profound vision of Kafka's work, inviting the audience to reflect on the human condition.
