Kevin Spacey will face three new civil allegations of sexual assault in a London court, starting next year. According to BBC News, three men have sued the actor, claiming they were assaulted between 2000 and 2013. At a recent hearing, a provisional date for the trial was suggested for October 12, 2026, although it has not yet been decided whether the cases will be tried in a single civil trial or in three consecutive trials. Spacey, who was acquitted of sexual assault charges in a criminal trial in the UK in 2023, has denied all allegations.
Two of the three claimants have been identified, one of whom claims to have suffered psychological and financial harm following an alleged assault in August 2008. Another claimant, Ruari Cannon, has waived anonymity, claiming that Spacey inappropriately touched him in 2013. Spacey was also sued in New York in 2022 but was found not guilty by a jury.
