Bibi, known as the secret daughter of Queen's lead singer, Freddie Mercury, died at the age of 48, losing her battle with a rare form of spinal cancer. Her existence was revealed recently in a biography published last year, and her death occurred a few months after the connection with the famous artist was made public. Bibi left behind a husband and two small children. According to the Daily Mail, her husband stated that she passed away peacefully. Freddie Mercury is said to have become a father following an affair in 1976 and was very close to his daughter, calling her 'my treasure' or 'little frog.' The songs 'Bijou' and 'Don't Try So Hard' were reportedly written especially for her.
The artist's former fiancée, Mary Austin, denied the existence of the daughter, claiming that she was unaware of her, and her lawyers attempted to stop the publication of the biography. Author Lesley-Ann Jones claims to have DNA evidence that confirms the familial connection and collaborated with Bibi for four years to write Mercury's biography.
