Stone also set a precedent as the first woman nominated twice for both production and acting in a single film, after Frances McDormand. Of her five previous nominations, Stone has won twice in the Best Actress category. In the Best Actress category, Stone competes with Jessie Buckley, Rose Byrne, Kate Hudson, and Renate Reinsve. "Bugonia" was also nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Score.
