The movie came in second behind 'Lilo & Stitch', which grossed $32.5 million. Although it grossed $51 million globally, it cost $90 million to produce. Lionsgate hopes the movie will support the expansion of the 'John Wick' universe, including 'John Wick 5'. Other notable films include 'Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning' and 'Karate Kid: Legends', both of which performed mediocre.
