Paul Stănescu stressed that cutting funding for local authorities would block Romania's modernization and considered this unacceptable. He said that PSD has always supported essential local projects and that mayors, irrespective of party, must be supported in order to continue investments. Stănescu insisted on the importance of listening to the voice of local elected representatives and rejected any policy that could harm the development of communities.
