Education Minister Daniel David has suggested that students who are unhappy with the cut in scholarships should seek part-time jobs as a temporary solution.

During a meeting with students in Timisoara, who were protesting against the reduction of scholarships and the limitation of free travel, Minister Daniel David suggested that they find part-time jobs, similar to practices abroad. He emphasized that the current measures were temporary and that their grievances would be conveyed to the prime minister. Students continue to contest the changes.
