Diana Buzoianu said that Romsilva is making losses of one million lei from its four-star hotel in Bucharest. She is proposing a radical reform of the autonomous regie, aiming to reduce the 41 existing directorates to streamline work and redirect resources to forest management. Buzoianu wants to give more power to struggling foresters and improve accounting and transparency within the institution. Former Romsilva director Teodor Țigan is also demanding compensation after his contract was not extended.
