德黑兰宣布，如果联合国的制裁被重新实施，伊朗将暂停与国际原子能机构（IAEA）的合作，此举是在法国、英国和德国发起的有利投票之后。伊朗认为，通过“快速恢复”程序重新实施制裁将严重影响国际合作。总统马苏德·佩泽什基安表示，伊朗将克服这些制裁，并且不会屈服于外部要求，强调伊朗人民有能力重建受影响的核设施。
