Amazon announces the launch of new hardware devices alongside Alexa+, an improved version of its voice assistant.

Amazon on Wednesday announced a long-awaited overhaul of its Alexa digital assistant, now called "Alexa+," at an event in New York.

Alexa+ is able to purchase concert tickets, order groceries, make restaurant reservations, and offer recipe suggestions tailored to family members' preferences, among other features.
