Tottenham have acquired 18-year-old Archie Gray from Leeds United for over €40 million.

The deal also includes the transfer of full-back Joe Rodon in the opposite direction in a deal valued at around £10m. Gray has signed a contract until 2030 with Spurs, with Leeds confirming that they "have honored a release clause triggered by the club's failure to win promotion at the first attempt". The sale is believed to be enough to make the Elland Road club compliant with profit and sustainability rules after the Championship play-off final defeat to Southampton cost them promotion and forced them to sell their players.
