Romania has won its second continental title in the Under-19 table tennis under-19 category after a tight final against Portugal, in which it won 3-2. Iulian Chiriță opened the scoring but Portugal took the lead. Chiriță equalized and Dragos Bujor scored the decisive point, beating Clement Laine in a dramatic match. Romania has had an excellent run at the competitions, winning 11 medals at the U19 and U15 Europeans in 2024.
