Thursday evening brought changes in the UEFA coefficient rankings. The results recorded in the first leg of the playoffs of the Europa League and Conference League caused an unexpected swap, pushing Romania one position lower in the European hierarchy.

Serbia managed to surpass Romania in the overall ranking. The situation is even more difficult as our country no longer has any active representatives in European competitions, which means we can no longer accumulate points this season.

The emotions are not over for Romanian football, as the 25th place currently held is threatened by Ukraine and Slovenia.
