Romania's Superliga: Răzvan Oaidă is the new player of the UTA Arad team

Răzvan Oaidă, the 28-year-old defensive midfielder, has signed a one-year contract with UTA for the 2026-2027 season, according to the club's official announcement on social media. Oaidă has not played an official match since May 25, 2025, when he played for 'U' Cluj.

After spending his youth career at Atletico Arad and gaining experience in England, Italy, and the Romanian Superliga, the 28-year-old defensive midfielder will wear the "Bătrânei Doamne" jersey for the first time.

"I am happy to be here. For me, many things are familiar: the atmosphere, the people, the city, the fields, and everything that means Arad. I come with a desire to work, with energy, and I can't wait to start training.

It is clear that every player wants to play in front of a full stadium at every match. This also comes with responsibility. The supporters give you energy, and you have to respond to them with attitude, work, and respect. UTA has always been a hard team to beat, especially at home," said Răzvan Oaidă.
