Nottingham Forest has announced the dismissal of coach Nuno Espirito Santo, who led the team to its best result in the last 30 years, finishing 7th in the Premier League. The decision was made after the deterioration of the relationship between the coach and the club owner, Evangelos Marinakis. Nuno took over the team in December 2023 and managed to avoid relegation, but criticized the summer transfers, considering the team unbalanced. Nottingham Forest is currently in 10th place in the Premier League after three matches. Discussions for a new coach have begun, with names like Ange Postecoglou and Mauricio Pochettino on the list of candidates.
