Lionel Messi scored two goals in Inter Miami's 2-1 win over Nashville to make it five straight league doubles.

Lionel Messi continued his impressive run of performances with a brace in Inter Miami's 2-1 win over Nashville. The Argentinian opened the scoring from a free kick in the 17th minute and took advantage of a mistake by the opposing goalkeeper for the second goal. With 15 goals in 16 MLS appearances, Messi is now level with Sam Surridge in the MLS scoring charts. Inter Miami are in fourth place in the Eastern Conference with fewer games played than leaders Philadelphia.
