Irina Begu (35 years old) was eliminated on Tuesday in the first round of Wimbledon 2026. Begu was defeated by Katie Swan from Great Britain, ranked 196 in the WTA rankings. The Romanian athlete lost with a score of 4-6, 4-6, after one hour and 24 minutes of play.
