The Iranian Football Federation has announced that it will file a complaint with FIFA regarding the restrictions imposed on its team during the 2026 World Cup. This situation affects the preparation of Team Melli for the match scheduled on Sunday against Belgium at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Iran is facing additional difficulties, including the refusal of the USA to grant visas to some members of the coaching staff.

The team arrived in Los Angeles a day before the match and had to quickly return to its training camp in Mexico. Team officials emphasized that these restrictions violate the principle of equal conditions for all teams and risk affecting the team's preparation.
