A.F.C. Hermannstadt announced that the transfer ban imposed by FIFA has been lifted, the sanction being the result of a dispute initiated last year and coming into effect on January 7. Aside from this issue, the club is awaiting a decision from FIFA regarding the transfer of Ianis Stoica, as Estrela Amadora has not made the payment for the first installment of the transfer fee. In the current standings, Hermannstadt is in 15th place, second to last, with 13 points after 21 matches. The team will play their next match away against Farul Constanța on January 17 at 17:15.
