Despite some spectacular matches, the end of the day at Wimbledon was marred by the withdrawal of Grigor Dimitrov, who led 6-3, 7-5 but suffered a pectoral injury. This is the fifth Grand Slam in a row in which the Bulgarian has withdrawn during the match, leaving the world leader to advance. Dimitrov has had a difficult run this year with withdrawals at the Australian Open and Roland Garros.
