German football legend Franz Beckenbauer has died at the age of 76.

Known as "Kaiser" (Emperor) in Germany, Beckenbauer was one of Germany's greatest footballers, winning the World Cup both as a player in 1974 and as a coach in 1990. Beckenbauer also had a successful club football career with Bayern Munich, winning titles as both player and coach.
