The French rugby national team has succeeded in winning the Six Nations Tournament, successfully defending the trophy obtained last year.
The decisive match against England ended dramatically, with a penalty kick converted by Thomas Ramos in the 80+3 minute, setting the final score at 48-46.
In the other matches, Ireland achieved a clear victory against Scotland, with 43-21, finishing the tournament in 2nd place, while Wales defeated Italy with 31-17, thus ending a series of 15 matches without a win.
The final standings of the tournament were: 1. France 21 points, 2. Ireland 19 points, 3. Scotland 16 points, 4. Italy 9 points, 5. England 8 points, 6. Wales 6 points.
