The Disciplinary Commission of the Romanian Football Federation has sanctioned the football club Farul Constanța with a sports penalty of 7,500 lei due to the racist and xenophobic behavior of its supporters during the match played at home against FC Rapid București.
The sanction was applied in accordance with the articles of the Disciplinary Regulations that prohibit the display of racist inscriptions, the chanting of insulting words, and other obscene behaviors. The incidents occurred during the 27th round of the Superliga. Additionally, the coach of FC Argeș, Bogdan Andone, was suspended for two matches and fined 320 lei, while defender Mike Botuli Cestor from Metaloglobus received a one-match suspension and a fine of 740 lei for his behavior during the match against FCSB.
